What Have I Gotten Myself Into?

This is my first "real" post of NaBloPoMo.  Between the regular busyness of the holiday season, I have also joined the Elf 4 Health challenge and the 100 Mile Challenge, so I have a lot of computer/life activities to keep up on!  So far I am not overwhelmed.  I am even in the  Christmas spirit early this year... that's not normal for  me.  We decorated half of our Christmas tree today, and I already have some shopping done.  That's record breaking.  When the kids' outfits come in the mail, we will do pictures and Christmas cards.

Other blogging to-dos are some book and shoe reviews, meal planning and drafts to finish that have been waiting in the wings for too long.

Jason came home with three deer to cut and wrap.  He does most of the work, but washing and  wrapping/vacuum sealing are my jobs.  That and following behind his cleanup with rags and a bottle of Clorox!

Between the challenges and life, I also have a lot going on at work and in my "hobbies".  I have to keep up on running because I have a lot of runs planned for next year (I don't ever want to have to build back up to anything under 5 miles if I don't have to).  I also had a bazaar yesterday, and I have another one next weekend.  I make and sell jewelry.  So, I have orders to finish, and I need to get more stuff made... I sold a lot of stuff this weekend, and I want to be able to tell my loyal customers that I have new stuff!

So - my life is filled with different kinds of work right now.  My goal for this week is to never let it feel like "work".

  1. You CAN DO THIS! : ) I did this last month, and I can tell you, so many things happened that had I not written about it, it probably would've been lost to memory. Just write from the heart, and you'll be glad you did! Good luck, and good post! : )

    1. Thank you! I took a long break from NaBloPoMo at the beginning of this year, but I am excited to start back up again. If my kids have no other recorded memories, they will know what we were eating for dinner and how far I had been running that year. :)

  2. Sounds like a very busy month! But your goal about never letting it all feel like "work" is a great reminder. I think I'll borrow that. ;)
