What To Say

What could I say?  Overwhelmed, overworked, overstretched.... too much to do, not enough time.  The same story of my life, but I am not handling it as well these days.  I'm choosing to avoid things or drop them completely.  Some days it is in favor of being outside, working, landscaping, feeding random farm (I said it) animals.  Some days it is in favor of being lazy and doing nothing worthwhile.  I'm climbing mountains of laundry and swimming in lakes of dishwater.  Some days I wish that I had all the time in the world to blog and read and be online.  Other days I avoid it, dread it, don't even turn on the computer.

There are more reviews on their way...  The pstyle rocks, I'm a Softcup convert, and I have some great looking books waiting to be read.

I just won a cute art block from an Etsy shop, and I want to write a thank you blog about that.

Runs need recapped, cakes need uploaded, there are many drafts waiting to be primped up for posting... but I just haven't found the time, energy, motivation...

I have not left the blogging world... I'm just vacationing.  The kind of "vacation" where you have to do other things on your break.  No sand or sun involved.

  1. Holy smack, I love it! Climbing mountains of laundry and swimming in lakes of dishwater. We're having the same summer adventure!
I think a lot of people are taking breaks from the internet and blogging. Not a bad thing, especially when the weather is nice.

  2. Thank you! We feel so much more accomplished if we spend the day outside soaking up the sun. We don't see it often here in the Northwest, so when it makes a debut, we take advantage. I think we've had almost a straight week of sun... Finally!!
