The Gift of Traveling Mercies

We have spent the last three days driving, driving, driving.  Freezing or raining or hydroplaning, and God has kept us safe.  We have sat to wait because of accidents that happened just ahead of us, and we have frantically pulled over for a puker.  Sad, I know.
The kids have exhausted all their forms of vehicle entertainment, and we are all exhausted.  But we have spent valuable time with grandma and grandpa and uncles and aunts and cousins.  Jason's brother and his wife are safely, mostly moved into their new home.  And we are thankful for the gift of traveling mercies.

  1. Oh my! I'm glad everyone is safe. It is an act of true love to travel at the holidays for family.
